The Polish Society of Composite Materials (PSCM) was founded in 1994 and it brings together members from research centres and the industrial sector. The goal of PSCM is integration of composite specialists, exchanging experiences and promotion of modern composite materials.

The main operational areas:

• organizing annual seminars and conferences with foreign guests and
• editing the KOMPOZYTY (COMPOSITES) journal

Recently PSCM has tried to unify terminology in the Polish language in the areas of composites, especially composites based on plastics, ceramics and alloys.
